We also visit some of Egypt’s most famous Pharaonic sites and learn about the context of how ancient Christians lived in Egypt over the centuries.

Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock)
Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At hotel the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.
Meals: Welcome Drink.

Day 2: Egyptian Museum & Coptic Cairo 
After breakfast in the hotel, your private tour guide will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy a visit to the most interesting museum, the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 overwhelming artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
Head to Old Cairo to visit the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church from there you will drive to Khan El Khalili Bazaar for a shopping tour. Back to your hotel, overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Wadi Natrun
After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx, and Valley temple facing the great statue. Continue driving to visit Wadi Natroun a desert area said to have been blessed by the Christ. The Holy Family crossed the western branch of the river Nile (Rosetta branch) to the south to Wadi AL-Natrun. According to tradition the Virgin Mary and her son the child Jesus Christ, hid in that valley during their trip to Egypt, and Jesus Christ blessed the four directions of the valley. Wadi Al- Natroun is considered one of the most famous valleys in Egypt. It is considered the home of asceticism and worship, with four monasteries still existing today. Begin your trip with Deir al-Baramus which is the oldest of the surviving 4 monasteries, and in many ways the most isolated, then proceeds to Deir Anba Bishoy whose body is still in the monastery. Abu Makar Monastery. You will end your trip with Deir El-Suryani which is the smallest and most compact of the 4 monasteries. Lunch during your way to Alexandria. Overnight stay in Alexandria.

Day 4: Alexandria city tour
Egyptiantrip’s tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a sightseeing tour of Alexandria. First visit Pompay’s Pillar. It was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure rivaling the Soma and the Caesarean. Then you drive to visit the Catacombs which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Lunch at local restaurant in Alexandria, and then we proceed to see the Qaitbay Citadel which was built on the site of the ancient pharaohs (Light House) of Alexandria then to Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Finally you will drive back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 5: Tour to visit Tal Basta, Tanis & Bilbeis
After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personal guide to start the Holy Family Journey in Egypt, your first stop will be at the town of Babastis; It is now known as Tel- Basta, about 100 Kms north-east of Cairo, there Jesus gushed forth a spring of water to drink, you will visit the holy well, then you will visit Belbeis (ancient Philippos). The Holy Family made their way north-eastwards to Belbeis at a distance of about 55 kms from Cairo. They rested there in the shade of a tree which came to be called, “The Virgin Mary’s Tree’ at its place you there are Saint George Church, which you will visit and then drive to your hotel in Ismailia. Overnight stay in Ismailia.

Day 6: Drive to St Catherine city.
In the early morning at 02:00 am you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Moses Mountain and you will accompanied with Bedouin Guide as expert to Guide you to climb the sacred mountain.
After you climb the mountain and go down at about 07 Oclock you will be guided to visit St, Catherine Monastery, which is considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world. The monastery was dedicated to one of Alexander’s rulers, St Catherine, who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith. After that you will have your breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Suez.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Visit St Catherine’s Monastery and drive to Suez.
After you climb the mountain and go down at about 07 Oclock you will be guided to visit St, Catherine Monastery, which is considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world. The monastery was dedicated to one of Alexander’s rulers, St Catherine, who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith. After that you will have your breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Suez.

Day 8: Monasteries of St Paul & St Anthony. Drive to Cairo
Drive south from Suez to Zafarana to visit the two Coptic Orthodox Monasteries located in the Eastern Desert, near the Red Sea mountains. St Anthony(is a Coptic Orthodox monastery, in the southern part of the Suez Governorate, and located 334 km (208 mi) southeast of Cairo. and St Paul (It is about 155 km (96 mi) south east of Cairo. The monastery is also known as the Monastery of the Tigers). In the afternoon return to Cairo.

Day 9: Fayoum Oasis
After breakfast, transfer from your hotel and head west out of Cairo to visit Fayoum Oasis where situated about 95 km from Cairo. Upon arrival in Fayoum you will enjoy a visit to Karanis which is the ruin of an old city. That city contains a number of monuments, dating from the Roman, Coptic and Early Islamic. Then you will proceed to visit The Water Wheels which are said to be running since the Ptolemaic era. After that enjoy Lake Qaroun which considered the oldest natural lakes in the world, the third largest lake in Egypt and the rest of lake Old Moerisi. Lunch at a good quality local restaurant. After that you will be escorted to Qasr Qaroun about 55 km North West of Fayoum City. It consists of the well-preserved temple and remains of the Graeco Roman City of Dinysios. Then onto Wadi El Rayan, designated a Protected Area in 1989, Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression located in the western desert, 42m below sea level. Wadi Rayan consists of two lakes connected by Egypt’s only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage water from the farmlands in Fayoum. Later you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10: Memphis, Saqqara and Optional City tour.
After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personal guide to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser. Then proceed to have your lunch at local restaurant. After that transfer to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.
The tour includes a visit to a carpet school where you will discover how handmade carpets are produced. You will also have the chance to visit the Perfume Palace and Papyrus Institute if you prefer. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Optional: enjoy a relaxing experience of a felucca ride in the River Nile, where you can discover the amazing view of Cairo at night & you will discover the amazing views of Cairo at night. A felucca trip in the river Nile will enable you to admire the beauty of Cairo river banks, the wonderful buildings and lovely lights. also you can enjoy the sunrise and the warm sun during the day. We can also arrange your birthday party while sailing across the Nile.

Day 11: Final Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Luxor international Airport for final departure
