Itinerary

Your tour guide will pick you up from Alexandria Port upon your cruise ship arrival by the exit door, holding a sign with your name. Enjoy a private shore excursion from Alexandria to Cairo, approximately 3 hours by an air-conditioned vehicle with one stop in the middle of the way, in case you need a rest. you will be transferred to The citadel of Saladin or widely known as citadel of Mohammed Aly on Muqttam hills which lasted as the ruling spot of Egypt from 1176 to 1860, inside the citadel you will visit the famous mosque of Mohammed Aly one of the richest architectural heritage, also will visit mosque of Al Nassir Mohammed know as the green-domed mosque, with unique chance to have panoramic view of Cairo. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After that will visit Coptic Cairo or also known as “Religions Complex” where you will visit the famous hanging church which is one of the oldest churches of Egypt dated back to the 3rd century with a unique position as hanging building above the fortress of Babylon and built according to the Basilica style, then you will visit the historical church of saint Sergius which was built on a holly spot on which the holly family rested at the end of their journey to Egypt, then you will head the synagogue of Ben Ezra which is one of the hollies spots because on this spot baby Moses was found.
